Digital painting (Grayscale) 
Another black & white experiment. I paid a little more attention to texture on this one.
This took a few hours and I used a photo for reference, though much of it is original. I used lots of custom rough textures and grass brushes. The broken rope swing was a minor afterthought to give the image a theme. I had trouble deciding on how to handle the ground in the foreground... I eventually decided to draw a little creek/river.
